Well, the Hamburg 'Song is over' now - and it was a fantastic one!
I think, noone who attended will forget this weekend!

Only a few more days until our great WHO weekend in Hamburg, and come the latest important news:
For those of you, who'll arrive on Friday and will attend the QUADROPHENIA show:
All in all, there won't be a programme for the Friday afternoon!
But:
As I will be in Hannover with the Wholigans for rehearsals, DINO will be your 'guiding light'. This means, he will wait for you for a first meeting at 3 pm in front of the Hotel Pacific. This meeting is of course just for those of you who prefer to spend the afternoon together with other Who nuts. Those of you, who prefer to do something on their own, of course needn't come to the Pacific at 3 pm.
A second meeting will be at 7 pm - again in front of the Hotel Pacific.
And this meeting is recommended for all those of you, who want to attend the Quadrophenia show.
As the venue for this show is in the far east of Hamburg, it's not recommended to try to find it on your own! So, please, join together in front of the Pacific, at 7 pm!
Again, Dino will guide you to the LoLa, where the Quadrophenia show will happen.
The tickets are reservated for us - just tell them, you're attending the Celebration Day, and they'll give you the ticket. You have to pay for the ticket directly at the door!
For those of you, who ordered the discount tickets for the underground/busses etc.:
Dino will give you your tickets when you meet at the Pacific. Please pay the money directly to Dino!
After the Quadrophenia show, we'll go back to the hotel together, and then everyone is free to do, what he/she likes. Who wants to spend some more time together in one of the pubs, of course can do so :-)
For Saturday, there's of course no programme planned - everyone of you can do what he/she wants to do - unless all of you will be at the Schlachthof at 3pm :-).

Just got really sensational news about our The Who Celebration Day in Hamburg!
I can tell you: it will be a very, very hard weekend for all of those attending!!!
And here's the news:
On FRIDAY, March 21st, there will be a fantastic show of
THE FRIENDS OF BRITISH OPERA in Hamburg!
The Friends of British Opera are a group of fantastic musicians from Braunschweig, who did a great musical performance of TOMMY all around Germany in 2001 - and now - it couldn't have been planned better - they are performing
Q U A D R O P H E N I A !!!!!!!!!!!!
Isn't that fantastic??????
The price for the ticket will be 9,00 Euros in advance, 12 Euros on the day
So please let me know asap if you want me to buy you a ticket also for this perfomance!!!!

I advice anybody to have a listen to them - and I think we'll have a blast on Friday AND then on Saturday with THE WHOLIGANS!

We're happy that we now are able to present

THE WHO CELEBRATION DAY T-Shirts!

At the moment, it's not quite clear, how much the t-shirts will cost.
This depends on how many we'll print. But it's very likely,
that the price will be between $11 and $13 ( £7 - £ 8,50)
But, same as with the posters, at least 40% will be for the
TEENAGE CANCER TRUST!
So: Even if you won't be able to come to Hamburg,
buy a t-shirt and/or poster and support

As you might know, we decided, to try to collect some money
with The Who Celebration Day in Hamburg,
to donate it on Pete's behalf to the TCT.
The first of these charity products to sell
now is to be printed.
It's reproduction of a poster from the 70ies.
That's what it will look like:
The poster is printed 4c on high quality 170g/m² coated paper.

The size of the poster will be A1 ( = 60 x 84 cm)
We thought about a price of 10 Euros or £7 or $11
(plus package and shipping).
ANY profits
(at least 40% - depending on the number of copies perhaps more)
will go into the charity chest to be donated to the TCT.
Of course we'll publish a settlement of accounts and also
publish the receipt of what we sent to the TCT,
after the Hamburg convention!
This poster will of course also be available at the Hamburg convention,
so that you can also buy it then, and save package and shipping costs!

Definitive: The flights for THE WHOLIGANS are all booked !!!
Unfortunately, the situation regarding accomodation, is very critical for the weekend March 21st to March 23rd, because besides our convention, there will also be a big fair in Hamburg! So it's already difficult to get accomodation near the SCHLACHTHOF!
So it's adviced, to book as soon as possible!
